I was driving to the gym one morning, feeling good and just loving life . . . the sunrise, blue skies, and cool morning air. Everything felt so fresh at that time in the morning. Feeling gratitude and appreciation of life itself.
Then I noticed the driver behind was quite close, then he passes me and quickly drives in front of me, and speeding on. I realized then, I used to be like that – always in a rush when I had a job. Rushing to work, rushing during lunch break, and rushing home.
I also realized, I’ve become one of those old’ fogies who drive at the speed limit and acting like there’s no care in the world. That’s me!
Yes – life is good. Glad to be a senior citizen!
